I am inspired by the beauty of the Yukon in the colours of the sunsets and the way skies and clouds change and dance as the sun sets. During the summers and fall, the reflections of the skies in lakes and oceans settings add to the beauty and dynamic colourful landscapes. In the long dark winters, we also get special northern magic as the aurora borealis brighten up the sky and the colours dance overhead for all to see. The trees and shores are silhouetted as the light fades, enhancing the natural beauty of the moment. I find the Yukon an inspiring environment with endless colours and patterns to represent. My goal with my artwork is to provide happy, uplifting art work for all people to enjoy.
